How To Lose Weight Without Exercise (Plus Free Printable Water Tracker!)

Yes, it’s true! This is about how Albert was able to lose weight without exercise. How much? He lost at least 40 pounds!

 

EXERCISE IS IMPORTANT

 

Okay, I’m not here to tell you to stop exercising. I have an exercise routine that I do for 20 minutes. I exercise when I feel like it, when I feel heavier than usual, or when I’m guilty from eating a lot the day before!

Exercise helps to lose weight and keep your body physically fit. It’s good for our muscles, lungs, heart, skin, and even our intestines! I only do some simple stretching and cardio exercises, plus an ab routine every now and then.

 

ALBERT’S STORY

 

On the other hand, Albert hates exercise! The most he would do is our long walks to the mall, but that was a few months ago. Yes he believes in exercise and he makes sure I do. But I just can’t force him to join me!

Anyway, he read about the benefits of water and decided to try it. He made sure that he drinks as much water as he can everyday. There’s always a pitcher of water beside him whenever he sits down to work, watch TV, or go to social media. He also refills it every now and then, since the faucet is just 2 meters away.

So, here’s his photos in 2014 and after almost 2 years. Facebook reminded him of the old photo and he was so shocked that he was able to lose weight without exercise!

 

 

That’s the love of my life after losing 40 pounds! Yes, he doesn’t have abs and other tough muscles, but now I can circle my arms around him effortlessly!

One of our best friends visited Manila a few months ago and he was surprised to see that Albert lost a lot of weight! He also tried drinking more water, and no softdrinks, and he is now more fit than ever.



 

HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT WITHOUT EXERCISE

The secret is WATER! Okay, it’s no secret that water has a lot of benefits. But we never thought that it would help him shed that much.

Personally, I have difficulty drinking a lot of water. Good thing, Albert loves me so much and patiently reminds me everyday. Here are some of his tips to make sure I drink a lot.

 

DRINK LOTS OF WATER AFTER YOU WAKE UP.

 

Our body works hard even when we’re sleeping, especially to detoxify our systems. That’s why we’re very thirsty after we wake up. That’s a good time to hydrate and drink as much as you can.

 

HAVE A CONVENIENT DRINKING WATER SOURCE.

 

Albert had the water system fixed so it’s fast and easy to fill up our water containers. It also helps that the works near the kitchen so the faucet is just a few steps away. We also don’t drink cold water at home, so it doesn’t matter if there’s cold water available or not.

 

ALWAYS BRING WATER WITH YOU.

 

I always work at cafes so I make sure that I bring water with me. There’s also water available at cafes so I can refill anytime. It also helps me not to buy drinks aside from coffee, of course!


 

SCHEDULE YOUR WATER INTAKE.

 

I plan to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. That means I must have 4 glasses by lunch time, and at least 4 before I sleep.

Check your schedule to set water breaks during the day. Also, make sure you drink when you wake up, during meals, and before bedtime.

 

USE TOOLS TO KEEP YOU ON TRACK.

 

I have come across several apps to help. There are also printable water trackers available to remind you to drink at least 8 glasses of water. Albert is my best tracker of all, especially when we go out on dates, lol!

I also made my own printable water tracker! I made a weekly water tracker that you can print and stick to weekly planners for an instant water tracker. You can also add the whole sheet to your binder or post it on your desk. Use this to keep track of water intake for at least months.
