About Us

Thanks for taking the time to get to know more about us! We will add more to this list so you have an idea where we’re blogging from.

Albert and I love going out to eat, watch all kinds of movies, and do last-minute travels!

Since we became friends, we love doing almost the same things after work and until early morning. Now after almost 10 years of being together and in love, we still go out regularly. Our friends usually join us – except when we watch horror movies!

We have a total of 10 cats and dogs!

Albert and I found our love for animals when we rescued our very first dog. She rewarded us with beautiful puppies who are now all grown up. We also adopted a stray kitten, in addition to the cats in our house, and they all gave birth to very cute kittens. We try to give away as much as we can, and we’re still left with a crazy bunch.

I was trained to become a scientist!

Life is really funny. I was lucky enough to graduate from the Philippine Science High School and finished my degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at the University of the Philippines. I wanted to focus on cancer research because my dad was a victim of cancer, and I thought maybe I could help find a cure for other patients.

After graduating from college, I worked as a science research assistant for 1 year at the National Institutes of Health. To my surprise, I didn’t find my happiness there, so I thought of other ways that I can help others. I tried teaching instead, and I’m so glad I made the switch. Teaching was both enjoyable and fulfilling for me.

I was a Math teacher for 15 years and I liked it!

I liked teaching Math, especially in middle school. I especially enjoyed talking to the kids outside of class time, and playing Math games with them. After a while, we put up a food business so I decided to quit teaching and help Albert. This was really a blessing for us, and it allowed me time to discover other things that I love to do like blogging!

I started my first blog almost 10 years ago.

I have created and deleted a number of blogs throughout the years, because I didn’t know a lot about blogging. It was really difficult to learn on my own while being a Math teacher. Now that I’m blogging full time, I try and learn something new everyday. I’m also blessed with very supportive friends and loved ones, who let me do this on our coffee sessions. Printables And Inspirations rekindled my old love for arts and design, and I’m so happy that I’m able to share my creations.

When I was young, I dreamed of becoming an artist.

I still remember the moment when I gave my dad my first “real” artwork – a very simple painting using watercolor. I was only 7 or 8 then, and I spent hours reading the encyclopedia on how to paint using watercolors. However, music has always been our family trait, so I studied playing the piano instead. I’ve forgotten my love for colors until I learned about printables and flower elements. Now I enjoy designing everyday and sharing my work with you!

One of my best lessons in life is that seasons always come and go. I learned to embrace and enjoy what I have now, and to be open to change when it comes. I’m now more excited for what life has in store for me and for Albert, and for each one of us.
