Print Your Own 2018 Calendar Datebook!

November 11, 2017

Here’s a quick and easy printable giveaway for the new year! Print your own 2018 calendar datebook for personal use or for gift-giving. These are small A6 size datebooks that can easily fit inside a small bag.

I made free printable calendar pages that you can easily print on any A4 size paper to save you some time. Customize by adding a pretty cover and give away to your family and friends! These calendar pages are bare and simple so you can design them using stickers or doodles.

HOW TO MAKE THIS 2018 CALENDAR DATEBOOK

Step 1: Print on A4 size paper.

The paper should not be too thick so that the stapler will be able to bind the pages. I suggest using an A4size paper at 80 GSM.

PRINT PAGES 1 AND 2 BACK TO BACK.

PRINT PAGES 3 AND 4 BACK TO BACK, AND SO ON.

Also, it’s important to follow the printing settings shown HERE. The PDF files are larger than the actual size, so choose to FIT TO PAGE instead.

Step 2: Cut each paper into half crosswise.

Make sure that you are cutting the paper exactly in half, so it’s best to cut one piece of paper at a time.

Step 3: Fold each A5 page in half then follow the page numbers to assemble your datebook.

To check, odd-numbered pages must be at the left side facing you, and the even-numbered pages must be at the right side.

Please note that each A5 page shows you half of one month and half of a different month. So take some time to assemble the pages using the page numbers to guide you.

Step 4: Add a pretty cover page.

Add a cover page using half of an A4 size colored paper. If you are giving these as gifts, use a decorative paper as cover page to make a prettier gift!

Step 5: Use a stapler to bind the pages together.

Lay the pages flat and staple at the center of the cover page. The staple wire should lie inside the fold line.

I stapled at the top and bottom, making sure that the staple wires are aligned.

MAKE A SMALLER DATEBOOK FOR MORE FUN!

Some printers can print on A5 paper. If your printer can do that, use the same file and print on A5 paper to make a smaller 2018 calendar datebook!

You can make your own A5 paper by cutting an A4 paper into half crosswise.
